
Bonny Lee Bakley was an American woman who gained notoriety for her tumultuous relationships and controversial life. She was mostly known due to her relationship and marriage to Robert Blake.
She was married several times and had a child with three of her husbands. Bakley’s death was also the subject of media attention and investigation.
Husband and Relationships
Bakley was married several times throughout her life. While some of her marriages ended in divorce, most of them were also annulled for some reasons.
Her first husband was Paul Gawron, with whom she had a daughter named Holly. Her second husband was Blake Davis, with whom she had another daughter named Jerri Lee.
Bakley’s most well-known relationship was with actor Robert Blake, whom she married in 2000. The relationship was fraught with controversy, including allegations of fraud and manipulation.

Children
Bakley had four children. With her second husband Gawron, Bakley had a son named Glenn and a daughter named Holly.
Bakley had another daughter named Jeri Lee Lewis, who was born on July 28, 1993. Bakley initially claimed that the child was fathered by Jerry Lee Lewis, but DNA tests later proved this to be false.
Bakley’s fourth child was a daughter named Rose Lenore Sophia Blake, who was born in June 2000. The child’s father was actor Robert Blake, and she was originally named Christian Shannon Brando.
Cause of Death
On May 4, 2001, Bakley was found shot to death in a car parked outside a restaurant in Studio City, California. Blake, who was with Bakley at the time, claimed that he had gone back into the restaurant to retrieve a gun he had left behind, and that Bakley had been shot by an unknown assailant while he was inside.
However, evidence later emerged suggesting that Blake himself may have been involved in Bakley’s death.
Investigation and Trials
Blake was arrested and charged with Bakley’s murder in April 2002. The trial was highly publicized, and included testimony from several of Bakley’s former lovers and associates.
In March 2005, Blake was acquitted of the murder charge, but was found liable for Bakley’s wrongful death in a civil trial in November of the same year. He was ordered to pay $30 million in damages to Bakley’s children.
